Student Motorsports Association: The purpose of this club is to improve PHCC's Motorsports program to world class, recruit new students to the Motorsports program, and to assist Motorsports students in job hunting after graduation.

The Motorsports Association club is open to PHCC students enrolled in the Motorsports courses.

2nd Annual Car Show   -   April 19, 2008                                 Food Vendor and Trophies

About 700 people attended PHCC's second annual car show, held at Arrington Manufacturing at the Patriot Centre industrial park. Featured 40-plus classic, hot rod, imports, new and late model cars and trucks, as well as Harleys, sport bikes and cruisers.

  1st Annual Car Show
Over 500 people attended the "1st Annual Car Show" which made it a big success!

On April 28, 2007 the PHCC Student Motorsports Association (SMA) held a car show at the Arrington Manufacturing complex. The event was organized and held by the SMA and proceeds went  to benefit the local chapter of the Multiple Sclerosis Society. There were 71 vehicles entered in several different classes and 25 trophies were awarded. Winners in each class received a trophy. The classes varied from dirtiest car to the cleanest car. A trophy was also given to a recipient in the "Best Show" category.

Students take a trip to Richard Petty EnterpriseStudents of the Motorsports Association traveled to Petty Enterprise where they not only viewed Petty's garage they got to meet Richard Petty.

Students were excited to make contacts that could come in handy for potential jobs in the future.
